Highline hosts virtual, in-person, and hybrid Financial Aid Workshops and Information Sessions.

The presentations will present to students how to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) at no cost. The workshops are interactive, hands-on events where students can receive help in a group setting to complete either the 2024-25 FAFSA or WASFA.

The 2024-25 FAFSA is new and very different FAFSA from previous years. This video will explain the major changes of the new FAFSA.

Financial Aid Workshops and Presentations


Workshops are hands-on events where students can get assistance in a group setting. Students must bring a verified account username and password (FSA ID), parent or spouse name, date of birth, social security number, email address, 2022 federal income tax return, W-2s and other income records, and bank statements/asset information (if required). Parents and guardians are welcome to attend these workshops.

Presentations are not a hands-on sessions and students will not be able to complete the FAFSA or WASFA at this event. The presentation will present to students how to fill out the FAFSA and WASFA.  After the presentation, the Financial Aid Staff will take questions.
