ctcLink for Students
ctcLink, Highline's self-service portal allows you to manage your college business online:
- Enroll in Classes
- Check your Financial Records and Aid
- Pay Tuition
- Checking your “time to degree” completion estimate
- Student Record and Grades
- Apply for Graduation and more!
Get started by activating your ctcLink account!
#1: Activate Account
Activate your account to get your new ctcLink ID number. If you already have a ctcLink ID from another college, you can log in with those credentials.
- Navigate to the ctcLink Sign In page.
- Select the Activate Your Account link toward the bottom of the page.
- Enter your First Name and Last Name. Please make sure you have entered your name correctly. (If your legal name is a single name—such as Pran, Madonna or Nani - you must enter a hyphen (-) in the First Name field and enter your single name in the Last Name field.)
- Enter your Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY) as shown or use the calendar icon.
- From the drop-down menu select:
- ctcLink ID (new) if you are a new student or employee.
- SID (old) if you are a current or returning student or employee.
- Enter either your ctcLink ID or SID.
- Set your Password will display directions on account recovery.
- Enter your preferred Email Address.
- Enter a Security Question.
- Enter a Phone Number (SMS) is to receive the code via text (phone must be capable of receiving text messages). and
- Enter a Phone Number (Voice) is to receive the code via voice call.
- Enter Strong Password. Password must be at least eight characters. Include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number. Do not use all or part of your first or last name as part of your password.
- A pop-up message will display your ctcLink Number. Write it down and store safley.
- A Close Button will appear on the confirmation page.

Cannot activate my ctcLink Account
- Forgotten Password
- Follow the “Forgot your password?” link on the login screen. You will be asked to provide answers to the hint questions you set up when creating your account.
- Missed your ctcLink ID
- If you missed your ctcLink ID during account activation, email Highline’s ITS Help Desk.
- Forgot our ctcLink ID #
- If you have already activated your ctcLink account, but do not remember your ctcLink ID number, email admissions@highline.edu for assistance. Please do not resubmit an application.
#2: Access ctcLink
Once you have activated your account and received your ctcLink ID, you can log into ctcLink.
Mobile-Friendly Web Version
Use the mobile-friendly ctcLink website to access the ctcLink login portal, Canvas, the Highline website, directory, calendar, student email and more.

Note: You must first activate your ctcLink account before you can use the full functionality of the mobile-friendly website.
Next Steps
Once you are successfully active in ctcLink:
- Update your personal information and set your preferred email address
- New Students - Attend a New Student Orientation
- Current Students - Plan your classes, find your enrollment date, and find enrollment dates and deadlines.
